Synopsis Anxiety is a feeling of unease such as worry or fear. Anxiety provokes because of surgical operations and preoperative wait. The aim of this study is to determine whether listening to self-selected music decreases patient anxiety as compared with predetermined music from a software programme such as MUSIC CARE®.
