According to a news item in TOI, the central government is planning to conduct an Exit examination to all the candidates who pass MBBS examination from govt and private colleges as the quality of medical graduates is not good in these days.This is an All India exam and if the candidate comes out successfully he can practice anywhere in the country. Even passing TGIS Exit exam is mandatory for PG seats too.
But one big qeustion is, can the govt implemement it's reservation policy of 40 percent to reserved candidates and 80% to unresereved candidates as a minimum passing marks? Though the details of Exam are still under discussion let us hope there will be uniform qualifying pass marks to all irrespective of reservation category.
