Study: In terms of patient care, getting accurate patient information and managing that information is a daunting task. Comprehensive data management is the biggest hurdle especially in the Radiation Oncology department which is the backbone of the Medical Informatics. The study explains the development of the wireless local area network (LAN) for the Radiation Oncology department. Aim: The aim of the study was to develop a wireless LAN for the efficient management of patient information and thereby improve the quality of patient care in the Radiation Oncology department.
