Present article describes the outcomes of first successful bilateral hand transplantation after 18 months compliance. Although hand transplantation has become a flourishing treatment modality for adult amputees but no successful case has been reported in pediatric population. This article briefs about the surgical, neurorehabilitation and immunological details in a 8-year-old child with a kidney transplant and quadrimembral amputations. Hand transplantation involves ‘’vascularized composite allotransplantation” or VCA in which multiple organs are transplanted as a single functional unit.
