Foreign medical post graduate degrees should be recognized especially from countries like Nepal China n Russia. To ensure that Indian citizens who have done their MD/MS from these counties are competant enough with their counterparts who have completed their PG from India MCI recognized colleges, special licensing exam can be held. If they have done their post graduation from non-english speaking countries (unlike UK, US, Australia, New Zealand whose foreign PG degrees have been recognized by MCI recently) does not prove them less efficient. And an exam to be conducted for all Indian citizens with foreign post graduate degree would be fair enough.

If FMGE can be conducted for MBBS then why not for post graduate specialist. This will not only reduce the healthcare load in the country but also be a boon to such candidates who want to come back to India and practice as specialist. After…
