Sperm DNA fragmentation (SDF) is any abnormality in the genetic makeup of sperm DNA . It is one of the causes of male subfertility , accounting for in vitro fertilization (IVF) failures and miscarriages. An SDF test analyzes the sperm DNA integrity used to identify the risk of subfertility in men and forms the basis for its treatment. One such promising treatment for SDF is antioxidant therapy .
