That being said, I hate to be the bearer of another bad news in the system of medical education which will soon be a turning event for MBBS. A new bill has been passed in the parliament regarding an Exit exam for students who finish undergrad. This NEXT (National Exit Test) will decide if you can be awarded the "doctor" tag, even if he clears his university exams and completes the internship. And this is supposed to equalise the system of medical education across the country. Now, we all may have our degrees and think it's none of our concern.

But, it is the next generation that is in deep trouble. Already there are enough hurdles to be a simple doctor in our country, let alone be a successful one.
