Hospital waste management and infection control are two are the main management challenges faced by Indian Hospitals. In the past, the mechanism for the medical waste disposal has been overlooked by local government authorities as well as hospitals due to lack of infrastructure and awareness. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in collaboration with Indian Society of Hospital Waste Management is about to host a two-day conference on biomedical waste management and infection control in hospitals. The conference will be held on 14 and 15 November 2015.

AIIMS is expecting more than 350 delegates from across the world and Indian hospitals.
