For the convenience of patients, the district health authorities of Uttar Pradesh have now directed to display their contact details and photograph at government hospitals and primary health centres (PHCs) of the district. In this regard, the doctors posted at government hospitals, PHCs and community health centres (CHCs) have expressed their concern over the move asserting that this would surely disturb their personal life and create a nuisance for them.

“When doctors are busy examining patients at their OPDs, the continuous ringing of the mobile phone could hamper the working as we could not be able to switch it off,” a senior doctor quoted in this regard.
