Many patients in India receive expensive treatment such as enzyme replacement therapy. These medicines are given as charity from abroad. With the recent introduction of GST, the government is levying a tax on these medicines given free to the patients.

The amount of tax payable is huge as the medicines are costly. How do we help these poor patients receiving medicines supplied on the charity basis?
