Haryana has identified 25,666 new tuberculosis (TB) cases during the first 104 days of the ongoing 100-Day TB Mukt Bharat Campaign (Phase II), with AI-supported screening playing a central role in early case detection and treatment initiation. According to the state health department, the campaign was launched on World TB Day (March 24, 2026) and marks a shift from passive case detection to Active Case Finding (ACF). Instead of waiting for symptomatic individuals to seek care, healthcare teams are proactively screening vulnerable and high-risk populations to identify TB cases earlier.
