Management of HFrEF includes treatment of the cause of HF and associated conditions, pharmacologic therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, palliative care, device therapy, and cardiac transplantation. The diagnosis of HFpEF can be difficult to make, stemming from the presence of multiple comorbid illnesses with confounding symptoms.
