A pregnant lady, 34 weeks gravida came with bleeding PR and was diagnosed to have hemorrhoids by the gynaecologist.The bleeding was intractable and her Hb was persistently lower side. She asked me what to do. I said the cause of hemorrhoids is pregnancy itself and it will resolve slowly after delivery.

I just want to know is there any indication for surgery in the last trimester for hemorrhoids. Any serious complications?
