Can you please give your opinion how a MC cannot be honored? A pt seen by me was suffering from Enteric fever confirmed by Lab tests and advised rest by me for 18 days was not honored by a MO of a corporate company saying that treatment and lab reports do not tally. The said MO is sitting in Chennai and the pt. was from Indore who came to his parents in Mumbai after about 4 days when the fever did not subside.
Now the company Doctor says he can sanction only 5 days leave. Please post your opinion on what is to be done.
