How common is cotrimaxazole induced septic like syndrome?

A young girl presented with extensive rashes all over the body after consumption of cotrimaxazole. had a mild fever severe itching, urticaria. her blood reports intially was 14000 TC with mild neutrophilia. second day the blood picture showed 25000 Tc with neutrophilia. peripheral smear showed no toxic cells.

or immature netrophils. The symptoms and signs gradually reduced within 3 days of hospitalization. The above findings were suggestive of cotrimaxazole induced septic shock like presentation. How often has any one come across such case.
