Most of IMA members have opted for joining Social Security Schemes by contributing every year to welfare and social security of their Wards. I understand you have to contribute till your death. Now at present because of drastic changes in Working culture, average education and pay scale the has grown up WARDs are earning 2 to 3 fold. At this point, we do not need social security but INSTEAD, the contributing Doctor Member is in need for SOCIAL Security but he can not be BENEFITED himself during his OLD age, and WARDs would need afterwards.

How far are social security schemes of IMA going to help medical fraternity? What is your opinion?
