The emergence of COVID-19 has led to several questions, fears, and uncertainties among both, the researchers and the public. Although several studies have helped understand the etiology, pathophysiology to an extent, and improve the management of COVID-19, the vaccination drive has led to a new set of questions. A majority of people consume medicines for certain health conditions before and after vaccination. Given that vaccination may lead to general pain and many individuals follow long-term treatment regimen for chronic diseases, there are questions on the safety of consuming painkillers before and after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
