When I attend the court in a trauma case, it is a frustrating experience to face across as age-old laws and deficiencies in present laws make the cross difficult. For accident cases, I suggest the following steps: Prepare a digital recording of every patient and provide copies to the court. Inform the police and carry a true copy of all documents with you.

Take a picture of the panchnama and add that in the patient's data. Carry all investigational and authenticate reports. Give each and every detail of even a minor injury, news of accident, site, vehicle numbers, vehicle directions, types of injuries with ruler near injury, photograph of I-mark, age of the injury, X-rays, and patient's photographs with all other reports.
