A 58 years old woman with diabetes mellitus, gout, hypothyroidism with headaches, body aches and swelling of eyelids with watering eyes, with muscle cramps in toes and calf muscle on lab tests has vitamin B12 levels1411 pg/ml. Levels more than 900 pg/ml are considered to be high. Her HbA1c 8.1, TGS 554, ESR 75, SGOT, SGPT slightly raised, urea and uric acid, TFT normal. Creatinine remained between 1.2 to 1.5. The patient was taking 2500 micrograms.
