The medical profession is at its low now. Government, Judiciary and Media all have turned against it. Doctors are being assaulted. Patients are dissatisfied and image of a doctor has been tarnished.The backbone of hospital is infrastructure and resident doctors. The Government is indifferent to the plight. No one listens to the advise of experts in medical field.Medical council of India the body that had so far had our representatives is being superseded by National Medical commission.
There will be few nominated members of our fraternity and even they can play a decisive roll. The problem is more acute in Government hospitals - Be it district hospital, medical college or super specialty hospitals.
