Dear colleagues l want to draw your attention to behaviour of some doctors towards fellow doctors when they approach them as patients by narrating a small personal experience. I was advised by my ENT specialist friend to undergo CT PNS & referred me to a radiologist. I met the radiologist, introduced myself (in case he did not know me or recognise me) & told him about the referring doctor. He asked in a very rude manner: speak out. I told the purpose of my visit. He coldly pointed towards a bench where patients were sitting, askinge to wait.
Sometime later he ordered an assistant to do my CT. The assistant asked me to go to reception & deposit fee. I deposited Rs 3500 as fee. My CT scan was done & I was asked by the assistant to wait for the report which I got from the reception table.
