20 years old girl, her parents complaining of, she gets convulsions in sleep only, weather she sleeps in day or night, she will have conversations, they described as- she cries in sleep and exhibits tonic and clonic movements in extremities ,then RECOVERs after 15 minutes and then sleeps again and, in morning/ or after in day time, she feels weak for one to two hours. No HISTORY of urine passing or tongue biting in convulsions. Past history is of she had febrile convulsion once only at age of 3years and diagnosed brain fever,as parents told me.
Now in November 18 she started getting frequent conversations in sleep. Ct scan brain showing Mesial Temporal sclerosis but EEG IS NORMAL. NOT RESPONDING TO TREATMENT, PLEASE ADVISE HOW TO TREAT THESE SYMPTOMS?
