Recommended that children under age 15, receives only two doses of the Human Papillomavirus Vaccine (HPV), instead of the three doses previously recommended. The first dose would be given at age 11 or 12, but boys and girls as young as 9 can receive it. The second dose should be given after 6 to 12 months of the first dose.
In recent studies it was found that two doses work well as three in preventing HPV infection. Adolescents, who are 15 and older whenever gets first vaccination should still follow the three-dose schedule. What is your opinion regarding HPV vaccine dose?
