Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) is performed in morbidly obese patients to reduce the size of the stomach, leaving only the banana-shaped sleeve section. Limiting the size of the stomach restricts the amount of food patients consume, thereby assisting in weight loss with lower surgical risks than gastric bypass surgery. Additionally, a patient undergoing LSG displays faster weight loss than gastric band surgery.
Join the leading bariatric surgeon Dr. Sandeep Aggarwal who will give a demonstration of LSG in our exclusive BARIME webinar on 14th April , 6:00 PM IST onwards . Do Not Miss This Session!
