A 23 year old manual laborer presents with limitations of movement in his right forearm. He complains that he is difficulty to close taps with his right arm. 6 months prior he had a fall from a bicycle and had severe swelling and pain in his right arm. He had approached a local bone setter who immobilized his right arm with an above elbow cast. The cast was removed after 10 days by the patient himself. On examination, there was no swelling or redness over the right forearm.
There was full range of motion in the wrist and elbow. But pronation and supination were limited. An X-ray of the right forearm is shown. Identify the defect and discuss management. Source: Garg B , Kotwal P. ORTHOPAEDICS 2010.
