The dead body of a 12 year old girl recovered from a well was autopsied. The internal organs were congested. Scanty frothy fluid was present in the trachea and lung section exuded blood stained froth. A piece of sternum and femur bone were analyzed for histopathology. Microscopic examination revealed several well defined refractile structures.
