Case presentation A 13-year-old boy, who had a SARS-CoV-2 infection one month ago, presented with fever and swelling in the right side of the neck. The swelling and pain gradually increased for the past three weeks with no discharge or bleeding. The patient was taking Augmentin for two weeks prescribed at the primary healthcare. However, the antibiotic treatment showed no improvement.
The patient also suffered from anorexia-related weight loss, night sweating, and abdominal pain with fatigue. The patient had no interaction with animals or tuberculosis patients.
