Are normal Deliveries really normal? Pain is pain - Physiological or Pathological. Then why do we treat pain of Heart attack, but ignore labor pains as normal. Why don’t we leave heart attacks or appendicitis as normal? We are not leading a normal lifestyle, natural food habits, work pattern etc. But we demand for more normal deliveries. Is it not Hypocrisy? A full day agonising pain followed by caput/ foetal distress/ meconium stained liquor etc leading to a cesarean section.
Many times. Instead what’s wrong in doing an anticipated cesarean with good adequately accurately delivered anaesthesia. So that there will be zero fetal/ Maternal/ Patient Attendants distress. Government pressurises, insists, enquires on normal deliveries. Is this right? Would anybody accept fetal mortality? Cesarean section is more acceptable and safe than pain, distress and mortality.
