Recently a radio-diagnosis center in Delhi was sealed for illegally training approximately 400 people on how to operate ultrasound machines without appropriate government recognition and regulatory approval. According to the recent reports, illegal ultrasound is one of the major contributing factors for sex-selective abortion and female foeticide, and such illegal ultrasound centers can be responsible for Illegal sex selection which has a tremendous impact on the child sex ratio in India.
