My patient with DM, CRD and recently having Paroxysmal Nocturnal Orthopnea. Is on cefixime, steriod- Omnacortil 30 mg, Digoxin (5 days a week), 10 mg of Cetanil, and twice daily nebulised with Duolin and Butamate respules. She is also on Iron injection alternate day and Erythropoetin 4000 IU twice a week. Her Urine tested postive for Nitrite and no other significant finding. ECG - Sinus tachycardia.
Her Blood Urea is 80 and creatinine over 5, Hb.7.8. With the slowly rising urea creatine would it be prudent to start tab Renalog. What would your recommend for this patient? Will appreciate your inputs.
