The term superbugs is used in a  relation of the pathogens who have evolved and developed a resistance to contemporary medicine in last few years. Antibiotics are losing their effectiveness due to this evolution. India is becoming home to these superbugs as the new report from Centre for Disease Dynamics, Economics and Policy suggests. For nearly a century, use of antibiotics has effectively stopped the spread and damage from many harmful bacteria. However, in recent decades antibiotics, which were very effective at one point, are losing their punch to control these bacteria.
