India has pledged USD 10 million to support Africa’s efforts in tackling the ongoing Ebola outbreak, reinforcing its commitment to global health security and international cooperation. The announcement was made by Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda during the African Union’s Virtual Summit, which brought together leaders, policymakers, and global health partners to coordinate response measures.
The contribution will help strengthen outbreak preparedness, emergency response, recovery efforts, and healthcare system resilience in affected and at-risk countries.
