It is common experience that there is big rush of patients in Govt. hospitals, Due to overbusy schedule and lack of good equipment, these are not able to provide quality services to the people. Due to this, many hospitals have come up in the private sector. Many a times we refer cardiac cases to such hospitals or many patients reach there by self.
Most of times cardilogists advise coronary angiography and later advise stenting or bypass surgery. I feel in many cases, it is not required. As a general physician, who is doing only consultation practice, I want to know what are absolute indications for intervention in CAD cases, what are relative indicacations, where doctors like me should refer cases to a cardiologist?
