Bariatric surgery is an effective treatment for morbidly obese patients. However, these procedures are often associated with postoperative complications such as micronutrient deficiencies, dumping syndrome, post-gastric bypass hypoglycemia, cholelithiasis, nephrolithiasis, bone loss, and fractures. Management of these complications can often be challenging for clinicians.
