Brain cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Brain tumors can survive almost all traditional and novel therapies. This is due to the distinctive cell-intrinsic and microenvironmental properties of neural tissues. The World Brain Tumor Awareness Week is observed from 24th October to 31st October every year. The week intends to demonstrate and address the challenges associated with the management of brain tumors.
Major challenges in brain tumor management: There are eight major challenges associated with the management of brain tumors. 1. Bridging the gap: Research is yet to identify the appropriate treatment for most brain tumors.
