Patients on hypertensive medication monitor BP at home on digital BP instruments. Many times first reading of digital machine is 5 mm HG higher than second reading.
As stepping up of treatment is required when reading cross the normal limits. How to interpret the first reading which is usually higher in case when it cross upper border of normal?
