Hello friends! I have this 4-year-old boy with palpable non-blanching petechae purpura on the both calves with arthralgia (ankle joint) which started one month back. No fever, no pain abdomen, urine normal, CBC, RA factor, ASO normal. Patient not sick looking. Rash disappeared after oral prednisolone on 4th day, but again appeared after 15th day from onset.
Again disappeared after few day is without any medicine. Now again a faint rash same area has come up! Pediatric rheumatologist seen and also diagnosed it as Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP). My concern is do we get this type of course in HSP? Or it's something else?
