I had done my MBBS from Hyderabad and then my MD in Internal Medicine from PGIMER Chandigarh and then I did my 1 year Senior Residency also at PGI. I returned back to my state (Telangana) this year. But they are not registering my degree telling that I should undergo 1 year mandatory rural service which is there here for those who get their degrees from the state as the students are supposed to give an undertaking that they would do 1 years service after their PG. Is 1-year rural service mandatory in AP and Telangana for those doing their PG outside the state.The state had not given me the degree then why should the rule be applicable to me.
As I had already done 1 year SR ship they should recognise my degree and consider for registering in the state medical council. How should I go about it? Can anyone please give me suggestions.
