Very superficial RS irt 44,45,46,47 were extracted, but while I was elevating RS of 45, this pale white tissue came along attached to root apex. As soon as I saw it being dragged out, I stopped pulling and detached it from root apex.I have cut 3-4 mm of the tissue and packed the tissue back into the socket with Moon's probe though it was not big enough to lodge the tissue completely.All that I am concerned that was it the mental nerve? Should I have managed it in another way?
The tissues are preserved in formalin for future biopsy, but the patient is not able to afford any further charges. Please give your suggestion on this.
