A Girl who was admitted with anal fistula was advised surgery which she has undergone in a private hospital. After operation doctor showed her a piece of flesh taken from her body during surgery. She complaint that after surgery she is unable to sit or stand and has to take pain killers. Doctor has molested her in theatre. Statement of Hospital:- surgery was done by male surgeon and other staff members present in theatre included two female staff nurses one male anaesthatist one male paramedical staff.
Patient before this complaint has sent a legal notice to hospital but allegations of molestation were not mentioned. Now she filed a complaint with police which is under investigation. How to protect against such allegations in future and what about Videography of procedure, Is it permissible? Kindly share. What is your opinion?
