Judge us ethically and judiciously Sir, It is widely known that in recent past the Ethical Committee of SMC / MCI has been flooded with complaints of professional misconduct and medical negligence etc. etc. both directly from the aggrieved patients and also from other law enforcing agencies. Needless to say sudden escalation in such complaints is the ultimate result of growing discontent among doctors and patients fuelled by era of consumerism and extra competitive & irresponsible media.
Sir, we all must agree that the ethical or disciplinary Committee of SMC / MCI are not well equipped to “Judiciously” handle such vast No. of cases.
