The recent SC Judgement on entry to Sabarimala temple made me curious about how SC functions. 1. I noticed that Judgements on cases of National importance are delivered just before the retirement of CJI. All adverse fall out of such judgments will be left to the succeeding CJI to handle. I am curious to know the ethical implications if the similar policy is adopted by a highly skilled and reputed surgeon wherein he accumulates critical cases till the end of his career and operates just before retirement and the adverse Postop complications are left to his successor to handle. 2.
As Doctors, we cannot get our license renewed unless one puts up 30 credit hours (6/yr) and updates his knowledge continuously.
