In our capital city, eye cancer has caused an alarming situation for kids as compared to adults . According to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) eye cancer is claimed to be rare and has distinguishing characteristics like leukocoria or white eye reflex. Leukocoria is described as abnormal white reflection from the retina of the eye due to the presence of the tumour and absence of tapetum lucidum in retina of eye. The data provided by the AIIMS has revealed that since 2015, a total of 297 children were diagnosed with eye cancer comparatively only 4 adults were detected with the disease.
