This article highlights the benefits of   Laparoscopic antireflux surgery (LARS) as an active treatment option for chronic cough related to gastroesophageal reflux disease, with three-quarters of patients having complete resolution of symptoms. Chronic cough is a challenging and possibly debilitating condition characterized by various underlying pathologies. Studies have shown that patient-reported prevalence is 1 in 10 individuals, presenting a substantial healthcare burden for its diagnosis and treatment.
