Liver transplantation is the treatment choice for end-stage liver diseases. Improved surgical techniques and the introduction of new immunosuppressive agents, living donor liver transplant (LDLT) has emerged as a clinically safe option over deceased donor liver transplants. It was first introduced in 1989 for the pediatric population, and ten years later, it was gradually adopted for adults. It not only caters to the donor scarcity but adds quickly to the donor pool and has become the “first-approach” in liver transplant cases.

To share insights on the living donor liver transplant, we bring an informative Surgical Suite as a part of our new offering on 9th Oct 2021, 5:00 PM onwards . In this webinar, Dr. Gaurav Gupta will discuss “Living Donor Liver Transplant –The First Approach”. Stay tuned!
