A decade ago there were few cases of thrombocytopenia in India but now every third case of low platelet count gave an alarming sign in India. In this case our mind firstly strike for Dengue fever but now majority NS antigen negative but still low platelet count persist. There can be bacterial, viral or autoimmune cause but once you get struck with low platelet count you can restore counts only for few months or hardly for a year Again you will have to face the same. No definitive treatment- If cause infectious than Antibiotics, If viral than antiviral and if autoimmune than steroids.
Finally in severe cases Platelet transfusion. I usually heard from my patients that goat milk, papaya leaves, Kiwi fruits are best. But in our allopathic science, there is no documented proof about it. So kindly suggest some curative opinion regarding this disease…
