A male patient aged 42 years, the engineer by profession presented with sudden onset of itching over the neck, gradually becoming generalized. No history of food allergy, drug allergy till date. No history of insect bite or atopy in both maternal and paternal side. Treated him with iv pheniramine, dexamethasone and started oral antihistamines along with methylprednisolone 4mg, 3 times a day. Deworming was done with albendazole. Its almost 4 days since l started treatment and urticarial rashes are presenting again after the varying of the drug.
Advised topical mometasone steroid application for the soothing effect. Continuously since 4 days giving iv pheniramine and iv dexamethasone.
