According to the WHO, over 1,80,000 people die from burns every year. When evaluating, treating, and managing burn wounds, various factors are taken into account, including the type, depth, and location of the burn and patient characteristics such as age, health problems, and other injuries. However, healthcare professionals (HCPs) encounter several obstacles while managing burn wounds, including infection, poor wound healing, and incorrect management.
As a result, HCPs must be well-equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to manage burns and their complications effectively. To help you gain more insights on the management of burns, we have organized a MasterSeries session with Dr. Vijay Langer on 21 st December 2021, 3:00 PM onwards.
