Chronic liver disease (CLD) is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality globally. Oxidative stress is generated in various pathological conditions, leading to hepatocellular dysfunction and eventual hepatic fibrosis. Oxidative stress underlies the pathophysiology of diverse etiologies of CLD and involves hepatocarcinogenesis development.
Currently, there are limited targeted pharmacotherapeutics for CLD, alcoholic liver disease, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C virus infection. Hence, antioxidant supplementation may be helpful in these conditions to improve liver function and reverse fibrosis. In this regard, PlasmaGen BioSciences has collaborated with Docplexus to organize a clinically insightful session on βManagement of Liver Cirrhosis and Oxidative Stress' and how β All Albumins are not Same.β Β We look forward to your active participation inβ¦
