She has a case of p1 post caesarean term pregnancy with pregnancy induced hypertension. Her BP was 160/90 and she was on tab methyl dopa 500. I did elective lower segment cesarean section .On 3rd day she developed systemic inflammatory response syndrome and acute respiratory distress. Now her BP was 120/70, pulse rate-144/min, respiratory rate-32/min, temp-102 degrees Fahrenheit, partial pressure of O2-87%. There was no abdominal distension. Bowel sound present. Patient was taking diet orally.
No foul smelling vaginal discharge was seen. Incision site is healthy. Pre-operative injection clindamycin was given. Now her investigative reports are: t-cell-12600 ,differential leucocyte count-N85L14E1. Liver Function Test and Renal Function Test are normal. Please suggest management.
